Data Acquisition & Governance

At E-Summit '26 UIET KUK, we prioritize the integrity and security of your data. This Privacy Policy details the information network protocols regarding the collection, use, and protection of your personal parameters when you access our system.

Information We Collect

  • Identity Matrices: Full name, institutional details (college, branch, roll number), and contact vectors (email, phone number) provided during registration.
  • Operational Data: Event participation logs, check-in status, and accommodation requests.
  • System Telemetry: Device IP, browser configuration, and site interaction metrics to ensure optimal system performance.

Data Utilization

Collected data is strictly utilized to authenticate users, generate encrypted digital passes (QR credentials), allocate physical resources (like hostels), and maintain a secure grid during the event. We do not sell or lease your identity to third-party entities.

Security Protocols

Your authentication credentials (passwords) are cryptographically hashed using industry-standard bcrypt algorithms. All network traffic between your node and our mainframe is secured via SSL/HTTPS.

Grid Access & Conduct

By registering for E-Summit '26, you agree to abide by the institutional directives of UIET KUK. Access to the grid (event premises) is contingent upon presenting a valid, non-tampered digital pass generated by our system.

Code of Behavior

  • All attendees must maintain a professional and respectful demeanor toward fellow participants, speakers, and the organizing mainframe.
  • Any attempt to disrupt event operations, falsify credentials, or execute unauthorized code on event infrastructure will result in immediate expulsion and system ban.
  • The organizing committee holds the supreme override authority to revoke access passes without prior notice in case of disciplinary violations.

Liability Clause

UIET KUK and the E-Summit '26 organizing body are not liable for the loss, theft, or damage of personal hardware (devices, bags, etc.) brought onto the campus. Participants are responsible for securing their own assets.

Critical System Warning: Free Entry

Access to E-Summit '26 UIET KUK is 100% FREE. We do NOT charge any registration fees, entry fees, or participation fees for the core event. Beware of fraudulent payment links, fake emails, or unauthorized nodes asking for money to secure your entry pass. Do not transfer funds to anyone claiming to sell event tickets.

Official Merchandise (Goodies) Transmissions

The only legitimate monetary transactions associated with E-Summit '26 are for the purchase of official event merchandise (Goodies, T-shirts, Kits) via our verified online store or on-site official kiosks.

Goodies Refund & Exchange Directives

Since merchandise is manufactured to order, our return protocols are strictly regulated:

  • Defective Hardware: If you receive merchandise with manufacturing defects or damage, a replacement will be issued. Claims must be submitted to the physical Help Desk or via email within 48 hours of receipt.
  • Sizing Issues: T-shirt size exchanges are subject to physical inventory availability on-site. We highly recommend verifying the size chart before initiating a transaction.
  • Cancellations: Pre-orders for goodies can only be canceled if the production phase has not commenced. Once the order is locked into the manufacturing grid, refunds are nullified.

Reporting Fraudulent Activity

If you encounter any external entities attempting to charge you for event access or posing as official E-Summit organizers, report them immediately to our command center at esummit.uiet@kuk.ac.in.
